Additional Information: A strong/masculine Cedarwood, smells like a cedar chest. As the botanical name shows, this tree is actually a Juniper. However, the common name reflects that the people in the region perceived this tree as a Cedarwood. At Wisdom of the Earth, we actually have four types of Cedarwoods…Virginia & Texas, both of which are actually Junipers, and Himalayan & Atlas, both of which are “true” cedarwoods. many of their medicinal properties overlap, their essential oils have more in common than not.
